Trent J. Swift, Committed to his Clients and his Community
Trent J. Swift, a partner at Lytal, Reiter, Smith, Ivey & Fronrath, has built his legal career on a foundation of litigation and advocacy. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Swift was affiliated with a general practice litigation firm, where he focused on complex commercial and civil litigation. His work has led to numerous verdicts and confidential settlements that have significantly benefited his clients.
Trent earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from New York University and his law degree from New York Law School. During law school, he served as a research assistant, working with NGOs across Asia to raise awareness of human rights issues and explore strategies for preventing human rights violations.
A Palm Beach County native with family ties to the area dating back three generations, Trent is deeply committed to his community. He and his wife, Jessica, are actively involved in a range of philanthropic initiatives throughout Palm Beach County. Organizations that have benefited from their efforts include the Palm Beach 211 Helpline, the Alexander Dreyfoos School of the Arts Foundation, the Palm Beach Symphony, the American Heart Association, the Hanley Foundation, and the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League.
Mr. Swift began his legal career as a clerk at Lytal, Reiter, Smith, Ivey & Fronrath following his graduation from law school. Notably, he was also a client of the firm in a medical malpractice case in the late 1990s. Today, he is proud to serve as a partner, continuing the firm’s legacy of advocacy and client-focused representation.
